Getting Started

Military veterans may find the following Grand Valley State University links to be useful in getting started and identifying services:

The first step is to apply for admission. For more information about admissions requirements and an online application, visit our Admissions Web site.

Note: If you are unable to afford the Application Fee, please contact the Admissions Office to request that it be waived.

If you are active-duty and not initially classified as a Michigan Resident student, you may submit an Application for Reclassification

Veterans On Line Application website is an official U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) website that enables service members, veterans and their beneficiaries, and other designated individuals to apply for benefits using the Internet.

eBenefits web portal provides Servicemembers, veterans, their families and authorized caregivers a single sign-on, central access point to clinical and benefit data.

Using eBenefits tools, you can apply for benefits, download your DD214, view your benefits status, plus many more features. This workspace is available to you once you have created your eBenefits account.
