Ravines Residential Mail & Package Center
The Ravines Residential Mail & Package Center is located in the Ravines Center - North of the Fieldhouse. All mail, packages and special deliveries arrive daily at the Center. From the Center, mail is distributed Monday through Friday into residents’ mailboxes located in their residential building. All residents share a mailbox with their roommate(s).
Packages and mail items too large to be placed in a mailbox may be picked up at the Ravines Residential Mail & Package Center. Packages will be processed within 24-48 business hours of delivery. Once a package arrives for a student, the package is logged into our system and an automatic notification email will be sent the student at their GVSU email address. Students must present a valid photo ID to retrieve their package. Packages not retrieved within 2 weeks of the first notification email will be forwarded to students' forwarding addresses.
At this time, the Center is accepting pre-paid labeled packages to go out (must have label and tracking number). We are unable to accommodate students sending out non-prepaid packages or returning packages. All of those outgoing packages will need to be sent out through carrier customer service locations. All outgoing paper mail will need to be placed into the blue outgoing USPS mailboxes with postage already added. Outgoing USPS mailboxes are located outside the Laker Village North Community Center, the main entrance to Niemeyer Living & Learning Center and in the parking lot of the Kirkhof Center.

Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm
Saturdays from 10am-2pm
*Reminder: The Ravines Mail & Package Center will have restricted hours during Spring Break 3/5-3/10. Hours for Spring Break 2018 will be as follows:
Monday - Friday 10am-4pm,
Parking is available for students who are temporarily there to pick up a package.
At the end of the academic year, residents need to confirm their forwarding address in their myHousing. To update this, log into myBanner. Click on Students, then myHousing. On the top of the next page, click on Personal Information and update Addresses & Emergency Contacts.
