As women reach adulthood, preventative healthcare becomes even more important.  The following are recommended services for women ages 18-39 and are services offered by the Grand Valley Campus Health Center:
  • Medical history and pertinent physical exam
  • Blood work, as needed, ordered on an individual basis
  • Annual breast examination and education regarding montly self-breast exams
  • Annual pelvic examination and pap test (smear)
  • STI screening and counseling
  • Contraceptive counseling and prescriptions (prenatal care is not available at the Campus Health Center)

Call (616)331-2435 to ask questions and schedule an appointment, recommended for annual gynecological exams.  Clinic hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., closed on major holidays.
